September 10: Praying for Calvary
The one concern of the devil is to keep us from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.
During the week, here are ways to pray for Calvary:
- Sunday: Pray for rest and strength. (Psalm 23)
- Monday: Pray for intimacy with God. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
- Tuesday: Pray for strength and unity in our families. (Ephesians 4:32)
- Wednesday: Pray for ministry effectiveness. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
- Thursday: Pray for continued obedience to God. (Luke 9:23-24)
- Friday: Pray for our leadership. (Romans 12:6-8)
- Saturday: Pray for wisdom. (James 1:5)
