We’re seeking a short-form video editor to create engaging videos that inspire and engage viewers to connect with Jesus and His church. You’ll need to be a quick learner, follow instructions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ability to take video ideas from concept to final product is highly valued. Expectations and responsibilities for short-form video editor:
- Must have a passion to support the Calvary’s mission and submit to its leadership.
- Passion to reach our community and connect them with Jesus through media
- Must have a teachable attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficient in video editing
- Creative and has a mind for what’s relevant
- Communicates efficiently and effectively
- Access to a device that you can edit long-form videos to smaller snippets
- Follow instructions well and meet deadlines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Keeps current and relevant in editing techniques and styles
- Up to date on Social Media trends and styles
- Able to create short videos in 24 hours or less
- Estimated time commitment: 3-5 hours a week
