May 29, 2022:

We must be willing to be transparent with God, and walk in the Spirit, allowing Him, not only to light our path, but to be our Counselor. King Solomon said that He dwelt in the thick darkness (see 1 Kings 8:12). It is in the dark times that the light can truly shine in the darkness, but only if we seek Him, allowing Him to reveal to us the hidden things that we cannot comprehend without them being exposed by the true light of the world. It has always been the will of God to separate light from darkness.

We live in such a dark world, yet we are filled with the light of Jesus Christ. We must learn to let that light shine bright in every place we go. Matthew 5:14 and 16 says “Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Please pray:

  • We will not fear the darkness of this world
  • We will learn to be a light no matter where we are
  • That those who want to leave the darkness will be drawn to God’s light in us

You will be ready to be a light to those who are seeking.
