In today\u2019s culture, that phrase can feel outdated or even overwhelming. But in the latest episode of <em data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"442\">Generations of Grace<\/em>, Calvary\u2019s Ladies Ministry podcast, host Val Thornton sits down with two women who\u2019ve lived it with strength, humor, and a deep reliance on God: Linda Betterton and Lyndy Sullivan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"625\" data-end=\"875\">Both women have raised children, homeschooled through changing times, and learned how to stretch a dollar further than most would believe. Not something to get through so I could go do something else more important. Both women emphasized that consistent, intentional correction is not punishment\u2014it\u2019s love. It\u2019s the kind of love that teaches respect, boundaries, and the ability to say \u201cno\u201d to yourself\u2014something even adults need help with.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2476\">And no, it doesn\u2019t look the same for every child. That\u2019s part of parenting too: knowing your child, praying for wisdom, and sometimes getting creative in the moment (yes, including pinches on the arm in the grocery store!).<\/p>\n<hr class=\"\" data-start=\"2478\" data-end=\"2481\" \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2483\" data-end=\"2508\">Homemaking on a Budget<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2817\">When you\u2019re raising a family on one income, budgeting isn\u2019t optional\u2014it\u2019s survival.
